Signage
Objective
A proper signage plan guides the guest through the facility, but also serves as an avenue for branding the facility. Provide careful consideration to signage locations as well as aesthetics. Choose materials and finishes to complement the aesthetic of the space and comply with all governing codes and regulations.
Planning
Below is a list of typical areas requiring signage and/or instructions:
Exterior
- Provide signage at the exterior of the building conforming to building management and local regulations.
Entrance
- Provide interesting signage solutions at the exterior or arrival of the Discovery Well Being. This should include the “Name of the Facility”. Consider unique ways to draw guests into the facility through the use of materials, locations, lighting, etc. Hours of operation may vary from season to season and is dependent upon demand. Consider designing this sign with some adjustability.
Restrooms
- Comply with all codes/regulations.
Retail
- If retail exists as a separate space provide the required signage and hours of operation for this space.
Salons
- Hours of operation if different than the rest of the Discovery Well Being.
