Toilet Compartment
Objective
Provide a private toilet compartment for guests. Include full height gypsum board walls with full height doors. Metal toilet partitions are not acceptable.
Space Planning
Position toilet compartments in the dry zone away from the showers. Do not locate such that passage through a water closet area is required to access another area. Locate adjacent to lavatory and grooming areas.
Design Features
Features:
- Provide double roll toilet tissue dispenser and two robe hooks.
- Sanitary waste receptacles are required at the women’s water closets. The finish of sanitary waste receptacles will be coordinated with the overall interior design scheme.
- At accessible water closets provide grab bars as required by the governing codes.
- Bidets: Provide a bidet where market demand and local legislation dictate.
